July 5 - Make a Fairy Garden
July 12 - Pick up a Taco-Take-Out-Kit from Taco Boyz and take the night off cooking! Eveyone makes their own tacos!
July 19 - Make a sun craft
July 26 - Book a visit to Happy Potter
August 2 - No sew pencil/marker holder
August 9 - Make a refreshing summer drink to share with a friend
August 16 - Fizzy Sidewalk Chalk Activity 
August 23 - Let the kids get into the kitchen
August 30 - Get ready for back to school with chore charts

Thoughtful Tuesday
July 6 - Do-it-yourself DNA Extraction (for kids)
July 13 - Start a 100 books of summer family challenge – participate individually or as a family and colour in your books as you go!
July 20 - Use your summer to continue your Indigenous learning journey. One suggested online course is from the University of Alberta.
July 27 - Participate in this summer's PEI Library Bingo Activity
August 3Online puzzles for kids (they won’t even know they are learning)
August 10 - Borrow a PEI Heritage Pass from the Stratford Library and start exploring
August 17 - Revisit our Stratford Winterfest Weekly Storytime videos
August 24 - STEM Activity: Build a balance scale!
August 31 - Start planning for fall by thinking about your garden

Water Wednesday
July 7 - Plastic Free July challenges you to reduce your plastic use (much of which ends up in our waterways and oceans). Take the pledge, learn more and find ways that you can help our environment.
July 14 - Visit the beach at Tea Hill Park
July 21 - Check out the splash pad
July 28 - Make reusable water balloon sponges
August 4 - Head to Kinlock beach this evening – take a picnic or just enjoy your toes in the water!
August 11 - Check out the Town's water conservation tips and take action to reduce your water usage
August 18 - Take a walk out to the viewing platform at Fullerton's Creek Conservation Park
August 25 - Play outdoor water games!
September 1 - Sign up and become a member of the Stratford Area Watershed Group

Takin A Trip Thursday
July 8 - There's so much to see right here in our own backyards! Pack a picnic supper, grab a blanket and head over to Robert Cotton Park (57 Bunbury Road) to enjoy an evening outdoors.
July 15 - Drop by and try our disc golf course at Stratford Town Centre. You can borrow discs from the gym attendants anytime that the building is open. You'll be hooked after your first round! 
July 22 - Visit the Stratford library and borrow a Children’s Nature Backpack, then go exploring! 
July 29 - Play at the playground at Keppoch Park
August 5 - Head to Off the Wallz Stratford
August 12 - Go fly your kite at Tea Hill Park
August 19 - Walk (or wheel) across the new active transportation pathway across the Hillsborough Bridge - there's a great view from all the way across!
August 26 - Go on a nature scavenger hunt - you pick the trail/park!
September 2 - Head to the new natural playground at Fullerton's Creek Conservation Park

Fun Filled Friday
July 9 - Summers are a perfect time to continue your Friday night movie traditions. Whether outside in the backyard on a big screen or cuddle indoors - don't forget the popcorn!
July 16 - Have an Iced Tea Party
July 23 - Eat ice cream (maybe even for supper if you’re feeling really wild and fun)!
July 30 - Check out the bench workouts in Stratford and change up your routine 
August 6 - Go backyard camping
August 13 - Call a friend and make a meet-up plan for today
August 20 - The moon is almost full - why not take a moonlit walk tonight at one of our parks (but don't forget to also bring your flashlight)
August 27 - Make supper together - find something for everyone to do
September 3 - School is almost back in - enjoy the last Friday together by going out to eat at one of our Stratford restaurants! #ThinkStratford

Selfless Saturday
July 10 - Kids (of all ages), this one is for you. Today we challenge you to come up with something nice to do for your parents!
July 17 - Perform a random act of kindness in Stratford today!
July 24 - Start a summer 'elfed' activity in your neighbourhood
July 31 - Create a future good neighbour by showing your kids ways to do so now
August 7 - Have a fundraising lemonade stand - choose a charity that is special to your family
August 14 - Surprise a neighbour with baked goods or a home cooked meal
August 21 - Fall is near - now is the time to start looking for a yoga or fitness class in Stratford!
August 28 - Support Operation Backpack PEI
September 4 - Clean out your closet and donate your unneeded clothing
