On-demand Transit Pilot Project

BusThe Town of Stratford, in collaboration with T3 Transit and Kari, is proud to launch on-demand transit in parts of the unserviced areas of Ward 3. This pilot project will launch on September 20, 2021 and run until December 2021.

Residents in the defined areas below will be able to book a ride between the hours of 7am-8:30am and 4:30pm-6pm by using the Kari app. This new service will allow users in those areas to transfer to existing T3 Transit routes.

Residents booking their rides through the app will have a shuttle pick them up at their doorstep or a centralized bus stop to catch the bus to Charlottetown or back to their home in Stratford, without any extra charge other than the standard bus fare. Some key features of the app include the ability for residents (and regular commuters) to make recurring bookings, receive notifications on their devices to update them when the shuttle is reaching them, and many more!

Future service, either through a possible continuation or expansion of the project, will be explored upon completion of the pilot program.

This project is delivered in partnership with T3 Transit and Kari. A step-by-step guide has been developed to help you navigate the process.
