Bid - Surplus Building

The Town of Stratford has a surplus building for sale to the highest bidder. The building is located in the Robert Cotton Park Wildflower Garden at 57, Bunbury Road in Stratford.

The building is an 8-sided wood frame structure, approximately 10'X10' with asphalt shingle roof. Interior is 2'X4' bare stud walls. It is currently sitting on concrete pads spaced at intervals. The building is in fair condition, but does require cosmetic repair work.

Viewing access Monday to Friday between 8:00 am and 4:30 pm only.

Bidders are asked to place their bids in a sealed envelope and submit it in person to Joe Driscoll at 21 Hollis Ave, Stratford no later than 12 noon on Thursday, September 29th, 2022. You can access the bid form online or a hard copy can be picked up at Stratford Town Centre, 234 Shakespeare Drive, Stratford. The successful bidder will be contacted after noon on September 29th. The building will be sold to the highest bidder.

Purchaser will be responsible for all labour and equipment costs associated with removing the building from the site. They will also be responsible for site restoration if any damage occurs during the process of removal.

The Town of Stratford will not be responsible for damages or injury sustained to any person or equipment in the removal of said building, and makes no claim as to the structural stability of the structure.
