At its regular monthly meeting on January 12, 2022, the Town of Stratford Council approved a resolution appointing Jeremy Crosby as the Town’s Chief Administrative Officer (CAO). Prior to his appointment, Mr. Crosby was employed for 17 years as the Town’s Director of Infrastructure and as the Deputy CAO.

“On behalf of council, it is a great pleasure to have Jeremy move into this role,” said Stratford Mayor Steve Ogden. “As an employee of the Town for many years, he is well versed in where we have come from and where our community is headed. Jeremy has shown that he believes in our shared vision for Stratford and I’m confident he is the right person to lead us toward that promising future.”

Jeremy has been a leader on many of the Town’s major projects including the wastewater treatment solution, transit, water and sewer projects, and active transportation, as well as leading the Infrastructure Department and supporting the former CAO as required.

“I am looking forward to working with staff, council, and community partners to implement the new waterfront development plan, community campus plan and growing the commercial core,” said Jeremy Crosby. “There will be a learning curve as I get up to speed on a wider range of topics, but I look forward to the challenges ahead and to meeting more of our partners as I do so. We have built a great community and together we will continue to move forward and plan for the future.”

The appointment is effective immediately.
