Town of Stratford staff and council.

Residents from across our community should have received a letter from the Town in recent days outlining the two options available for the replacement of our existing Waste Water Treatment Plant.

A public open house was held on the evening of August 10 with approximately 100 in attendance. A copy of the slides presented at the meeting is available here: WWTP Options Presentation Final

The replacement of the existing Waste Water Treatment Plant has remained a top priority for a several years and we are pleased to be nearing a decision to move us forward to a more stable and reliable long-term option.

We will continue to accept feedback until noon on August 17, 2016. Following this Council will be meeting in coming weeks to make a final decision with an announcement anticipated in September. To review the letter mailed to residents, please find a copy at: Letter to Residents – WWTP Options (August 1, 2016)
