Welcome to the virtual Town Hall from Mayor David Dunphy.

Here you can find out about our Government; Rates , Permits and Services; or our
Departments.

To visit us in person, you will find our Administrative Offices in the Stratford Town Centre at 234 Shakespeare Drive in Stratford.    The administration offices are open from:

8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. from October 1 until May 31 (Winter Hours)

8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. From June 1 until September 30 (Summer Hours)

Also in the Stratford Town Centre, you will find the Recreation Center and meeting rooms which are open from:

5:30 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. from Sunday to Thursday

5:30 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Friday and Saturday

The Town of Stratford was established in 1995 by the Charlottetown Area Municipalities Act. The town is governed by the seven member Town Council who are elected every four years on the first Monday in November.  The next election will be held in the fall of 2018.  The town administration is led by the Chief Administrative Officer.  The Town Council acts by passing Resolutions at the monthly public Town Council Meetings.  The Town Council may regulate activities in the Town through Bylaws or provide guidance and administrative direction through Policies.
