Public Service Announcement – T3 Transit Launches New Bike Racks for Local Buses

For Immediate Release:  June 5, 2017

 T3 Transit Bike Rack

T3 Transit, in coordination with the Town of Stratford, the City of Charlottetown, and the Town of Cornwall, is pleased to announce the installation of bike racks on 11 local buses within the three municipalities. This tri-municipal project was established in response to transit user feedback, in an effort to support active transportation and promote overall environmental sustainability.

“Making Transit more convenient is a priority for T3 Transit,” says T3 Transit Owner Mike Cassidy. “The new bike racks will provide an added level of service for our bike enthusiasts who may need transit for their route planning and scheduling.”

The easy-to-use bike racks were installed this spring, and are now ready for use by transit riders in Stratford, Charlottetown, and Cornwall. Each rack can hold two bicycles at a time, locking them in place for secure transport.  For a quick tutorial on how to use the new T3 Transit bike racks, please visit https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AzZwag7dQRY.
