Mayor Kevin Jenkins is a lifelong resident of CrossRoads/Bunbury/Stratford. Mayor Jenkins is a graduate of UPEI (BBA 1981) and a Chartered Accountant. As a Stratford Councillor from 1995-1997, twice-elected Bunbury Councillor, and second-term Mayor, he has a working knowledge of municipal government and a proven track record. As the father of two girls, he has been an active 4-H leader, soccer coach, and also a strong supporter of youth programs in the community. He remains actively involved in the Stratford adult badminton program and has served two terms as President of the PEI Antique Car Club Inc.

Councillor Steve MacDonald resides at 47 East River Drive with his wife Sally.

Councillor MacDonald served three terms as Councillor for the Community of Bunbury from March 1986 to March 31, 1995 and as a Town of Stratford Councillor since amalgamation in 1995. 

Councillor MacDonald's activities include: Lions International Service Club; Sherwood/Parkdale Lions Club with 36 years of service in the following positions; served as President,1st,2nd and 3rd Vice-President, Secretary, Treasurer, Zone Chairman; Deputy District Governor and District Chairman Board of Directors Alzheimer’s PEI; Board Member for 12 years with the Canadian Handicapped Association; Associate Judge for 15 years with Charlottetown Driving Park U.S.T.A.; Board Member for two years with PEI Amateur Boxing Association. 

Councillor MacDonald's interests have included harness racing and hockey. He was also the PEI Boxing Bantam Weight Champion for four consecutive years, and the Maritime Boxing Bantam Weight Champion for three consecutive years.

 Councillor Emile Gallant had a first three year mandate as a Councillor from 2001 to 2004, and is very happy to be returning as a member of the Stratford Town Council.

Councillor Gallant was born in Abram Village in western PEI. After completing his high school studies at Evangeline High School he obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Recreation from the Université de Moncton.

Councillor Gallant has been working in the greater Charlottetown area for the past 16 years. He has held positions with the Carrefour de l’Isle-Saint-Jean, Confederation Centre of the Arts, as well as the provincial and federal governments. Councillor Gallant presently works for the Department of Veterans Affairs as Senior Program Advisor in the Canada Remembers Division.

Councillor Gallant is a member of the Club Richelieu and the Rotary Club of Stratford, where he is Chair of the Club Services Committee. His interests include arts and sports and for the past four years Councillor Gallant and his wife have been billeting players from the PEI Rocket Hockey Club.

Councillor Gallant and his wife Sylvie, who live on Aylward Drive, have two children Rance and Adina, and a new grandson Thomas.

Councilor Diane Griffin

Councillor Diane Griffin holds a Bachelor of Science degree from St. Dunstan’s University, a Master of Science degree in biology from Acadia University and a Bachelor of Education degree from the University of Prince Edward Island.

Councillor Griffin retired in 2004 from the PEI Department of Environment and Energy where she served since 1995 in the positions of Deputy Minister and Assistant Deputy Minister. Prior to that she held positions as Executive Director of the Island Nature Trust and Natural Areas Coordinator for the Province of Alberta. Councillor Griffin is the president of D. Griffin Consulting and is a partner in the IRIS Group.

Councillor Griffin is past-chair of the Board of Directors of Bird Studies Canada, Chair of the Board of the Nature Conservancy of Canada (PEI) Inc. She has also served as president of the Canadian Nature Federation; vice-chair of the Wildlife Habitat Canada Foundation; president of the Natural History Society of PEI and vice-chair of the QEH Foundation.

Councillor Griffin served a term as a Councillor for the Town from 1998 - 2000. In 1985 she was selected as the Canadian Outdoorsman of the Year and in 1992 received the Douglas Pimlott Award from the Canadian Nature Federation.

Councillor Griffin has published numerous articles about nature and is the author of Atlantic Wildflowers, a book published by Oxford University Press. She has been a member of the Rotary Club of Charlottetown Rotary since late 1999 and prior to that was a member for five years in the Rotary Club of Charlottetown.

Councillor Gary Clow has been a career police officer for the past 30 years in Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island. Councillor Clow and his wife Eileen have two children, a son, Kevin and a daughter, Natalie. Their children are both married and are raising their families in western Canada.

Councillor Clow and his wife have lived in Stratford for 15 years. He has been a member of the Charlottetown Police Department for the past 27 years and is currently the Department's Community Policing Officer and Media Relations Officer. Councillor Clow has coached Minor Hockey in the past and has a great interest in the youth of the community. Councillor Clow presently participates in various school programs in the elementary and junior high schools. He also served on the Hillsboro Park Community Council from 1976-1984. Councillor Clow is a member of the Knights of Columbus; past board member of Pownal House; past president and Director - Police Association of Nova Scotia. He is currently a police advisor for Crimestoppers, and a board member of the Canadian Mental Health Association.

Councillor Clow also sits on numerous committees which include Crimestoppers; Crime Prevention; PEI Association for Newcomers to Canada; Youth Justice Committee; PEP Committee; the Charlottetown Santa Claus Parade Committee; Seniors Active Living Committee; Operation ID Committee and Education for Impaired Drivers Committee among others.

Councillor Clow currently volunteers at the Upper Room Food Ministry.

Councillor Patrick Ross was born in Charlottetown, July 28, 1975, to Sharon Ross of Stratford, PEI and John Ross of Barrie, Ontario. Councillor Ross lives in Stratford with his wife Sondra and two children Kali and William.

Councillor Ross graduated from Colonel Gray High School and then obtained his Bachelor of Arts Degree. He also obtained his Bachelor of Education Degree from the University of Prince Edward Island. Councillor Ross held positions with Addiction Services; Executive Director of the PC Party of PEI; Museum and Heritage PEI and currently works as a teacher with the Eastern School District.


Councillor Ross is a member of the Property Committee of St. Paul's Anglican Church located in Charlottetown. He is also a volunteer with the Heart and Stroke Foundation of PEI and various community and national organizations.
