The Public Works Department is responsible for maintenance of all Town owned properties and facilities. Should you require any additional information please contact Stratford Utility at 569-4662.



Grass cutting and snow removal is contracted on a tender basis.  The Public Works department is responsible for installing and maintaining the Town’s sidewalks.  Snow removal for sidewalks is also tendered out.


All roads and ditches within the Town are owned by the province.  The province is responsible for salting, clearing snow and reinstating snow plow damage on these roads.  The province is also responsible for all storm water drainage issues.  Any concerns with this infrastructure may be directed to the Provincial Department of Transportation.
