Parks and Playgrounds

The Stratford Recreation Department is responsible for developing and maintaining playgrounds and neighbourhood parks within the Town of Stratford. Stratford has an abundance of recreational parks and green spaces including five major community parks, and 25 neighbourhood parks.

We have a new recreational trail system indevelopment and public access to our coastline at various locations throughout the town including public beaches at Tea Hill Park and Keppock Beach Park .

Town recreation facilities also include five ball fields, four tennis courts, two outdoor skating surfaces, a youth and seniors center, several other community centers and access to the addtional sports fields at Glen Stewart School.

The department also provides many organized park programs availble through the summer months.
