|Date of Construction:||1937|
Family home of a very successful businessman in Cross Roads
When Wellington MacNeill took possession of the property in 1937 there was a small wooden home already there. Mr. MacNeill built the existing home to include the originial structure. When Mr. MacLeod bought the property in 1978, he gutted the interior and discovered the walls of the old house in the front. In fact, 2/3's of the larger house contained the original built in the 1890's. The barns on the property date back to 1890.
