Fire

For emergency service, please call 911. Fire protection is provided to the Town under contract by the Cross Roads Rural Community Fire Company. For non-emergencies, please call 569-4141

Police

For emergency service, please call 911. Police protection is provided to the Town under contract by the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP). For non-emergencies, please call 368-9300.

Emergency measures

The Town of Stratford has an emergency measures plan to enable the Town to respond to emergencies that are beyond the capacity of individual residents and businesses to deal with. In the event of an Emergency, an Emergency Operations Centre will be established in the Stratford Town Centre and manned by staff and partners who have been trained in emergency management procedures. For inquiries about the Town’s emergency measures organization and plan, please call 569-1995 or email info@townofstratford.ca.

Hospital

The hospital that serves Stratford is the Queen Elizabeth Hospital which is located a short drive from Stratford just off of Riverside Drive in Charlottetown. The Queen Elizabeth Hospital is a 274 bed multi-service acute care facility that provides both community services and specialized provincial services, and supports both in-patient and outpatient care. For non-emergencies, please call 894-2111.
