3rd Degree sized3rd Degree Training was started by husband and wife Pam and Steve Collette after the couple successfully embarked on their own fitness journey. Tired of feeling out of shape and dissatisfied by conventional gym routines, Pam and Steve began to educate and train themselves, finding balance and happiness in their new active lifestyles. They wanted to share those feel good vibes with others, which is when the idea for 3rd Degree Training came to life.

Their vision was an inspiring one: they wanted to create something awesome, something built on positive motivation, where everyone is equal and included.

Pam and Steve say that no goal is too big – whether you want to lose weight, build muscle, lower blood pressure, become stronger, run a 5 km or do a push up, they believe that with the right foundation and attitude, anything is attainable no matter your age or fitness level.

3rd Degree Training’s unique philosophy sets it apart from other gyms. When you walk through their doors, you become part of an inclusive community that strives to make fitness fun and engaging while producing real results. 3rd Degree Training’s innovative program specializes in 8-week camps comprised of group fitness classes that focus on total body conditioning, using only your own body weight with no equipment. Plus, their program can be easily adapted to fit the fitness needs of each individual.

3rd Degree Training is a true business success story, having expanded to include five locations, two of which are located off Island (Moncton, NB, and Dartmouth, NS). Not too shabby for a Stratford business that started out in a field!
