Stratford Baseball Association Gearing Up

The Stratford Baseball Association is gearing up for the 2018 season with a few changes planned. Find out more: Stratford Minor Baseball Association.


Registration is now open for Stratford Summer Day Camp!

The Stratford Recreation, Culture, & Events Department are very excited to once again offer a Summer Day Camp Program. This 9 week program can be reserved on a weekly basis or for the full 9 weeks.  This program is open to youth between the ages of 8-12 years of age with a maximum of 30 youth per week accepted. Each week youth will experience various activities such as: healthy eating, theater, arts and crafts, sports, nature based programs, and lots of free imaginative time. Registration begins January 3, 2018.

Fees are $135 per week or $990 for the full summer program. A discount is also offered for multiple children registration.


FREE Public Skate

March 17 from 3:20-4:20pm at Pownal Sports Centre


Babysitting Course for ages 11-15
March 2, 9am-4pm
$45 per child (lunch must be brought with youth)

Stratford Public Library

Brush Stop Stories: Story, arts, and crafts for pre-schoolers Tuesday mornings at 10am beginning January 9thNo Cost!

Wiggle, Giggle, Read: Weekly program designed for babies 0-12 months. Thursday’s at 10am

Storytime: Ages 12-36 months will delight in this weekly time on Thursday morning at 10:30am

Bricks & Blocks Lego Club: Saturday mornings from 9:30am – 12:30am (all ages)

Yarn Crafts: Each Thursday at 1:00pm beginning January 4th

Adult Ukulele Lessons: Whether you’re a beginner or picking it up again, strum along with this group and fill the library with music every Wednesday at 1pm

Adult Book Club: Join in either the first Tuesday of each month at 2:30pm or the last Wednesday of the month at 6:30pm

Hackmatack Book Club: Ages 9-12 will enjoy reading some fantastic Canadian fiction and non-fiction then voting on their favourites! Join in on the second Saturday each month at 1:00pm
